Researching Inequality in New Zealand
Preparation for Thursdays debate
Our team had been assigned the argument of inequality in New Zealand for Thursday's debate. We have all been adding to a shared Google doc and have decided on the three main points of race, housing and pay/income. I am particularly interested in the 'housing crisis' and in everyday racism such as the mispronunciation of Maori words in everyday life. I will continue to research these and learn new things. It is also great hearing everyone else's ideas and I am looking forward to being inspired by other peoples ideas on Thursday.
